A. PERRY BECOMES ONDULINE STRATEGIC DISTRIBUTOR

A. Perry now stocks and distributes a core range of Onduline roofing sheets, the market leader in lightweight roofing systems.

With Perry’s core customer base aimed at shed and timber merchants, as well as a wide distribution base into agricultural merchants, the partnership between the two brands made perfect sense as Perry can distribute more modest and economical quantities than Onduline themselves are efficiently able to distribute into these sectors.

Focussing on the original lightweight bituminous corrugated roofing sheets, ‘Onduline Classic’ is suitable for a wide range of applications, from garden sheds and outbuildings, garages and carports and even agricultural projects. They can be installed on both wooden and metal structures.

Launched on the French market in 1944 by Gaston Gromier, Onduline was a family-owned business until it was sold to private equity funds in 2006. Specialised in innovative roofing systems, the group has been growing since then, until leading the market of lightweight roofing systems as they are today.

Also, with a strong focus and commitment to being environmentally friendly, which falls in line with A. Perrys Eco Initiative. Onduline’s bituminous sheets are made from minimum 50% recycled content and the company recycles a staggering 80,000 tons of material each year. These first-class initiatives have enabled them to reach a positive carbon footprint of 4066g CO²/m² - significantly lower than any other roofing solutions provider, as independently verified by ‘Pur Project’.
